Glucosamine

Decreased in autism.

All glucosamine uptake is regulated by thyroid hormones.

T3 controls glucosamine uptake (i.e.
Shishiba et al, 1990).

Dexamethasone also inhibits glucosamine uptake (Smith, 1984)
