NEURON-SPECIFIC-ENOLASE (NSE)

   Neuron specific enolase (NSE) is correlated with the duration and outcome of epilepsy. Levels are significantly higher in frontal lobe epilepsy (Steinhoff et al, 1999).

NSE is under thyroid hormone control (Xiao et al, 1993).
